Y5 barstol

The Y5 bar chair, born from the collaboration between designer Sami Kallio and the skilled artisans at Hans K, is a stunning example of form meeting function. Its defining feature is the backrest, crafted with five rotated cut-outs remindful of the letter Y, which not only give the bar chair its name but also provide exceptional comfort and support. Made primarily from solid wood, the Y5 bar chair boasts a simple yet elegant design that seamlessly blends into any environment, be it modern or traditional. Its versatility extends to its availability in two models—standard chair and bar chair. Recognized for its outstanding design, the Y5 bar chair has been honored with prestigious awards including the German Design Award in 2018 and the Design S award in Sweden in 2016. These accolades underscore its exceptional craftsmanship and timeless appeal. With its commitment to sustainable design and expert craftsmanship, the Y5 bar chair is not just a piece of furniture but a statement of sophistication and style, inviting individuals to experience the perfect balance of beauty and functionality.
