Hans K General Terms and Conditions

1. General

Hans K sells to both businesses and private individuals. When placing an order via www.hansk.se, Hans K's terms and conditions of purchase are accepted. The customer is responsible for providing correct information and must be over 18 years old. If incorrect information is provided or if the customer is not over 18 years old, Hans K reserves the right to cancel the order. Hans K complies with GDPR to protect your personal integrity. By confirming your purchase, you accept Hans K's terms and conditions of purchase.

2. Order Process

Order Confirmation: After you have confirmed your order on www.hansk.se, we will send an order confirmation via email. The order confirmation will include the total price, delivery time, and method of shipment.

Purchase Agreement: A purchase agreement is made between the customer and Hans K when a purchase is completed and an order confirmation has been sent via email.

Prices and Payment: The price indicated in the respective currency is inclusive of VAT. Shipping costs may be added depending on the number of products, size, and delivery address. Payment is made through advance payment (bank transfer), or the options available in the purchasing process (checkout).

3. Delivery

Hans K collaborates with various shipping companies, including DHL and LGT.

The method of shipment is determined by the delivery address, number of boxes, and volume of the shipment. If the item is in Hans K's stock, the item is usually picked within 2-5 working days from the order date, plus additional delivery time depending on the method of shipment.

Hans K reserves the right for any delays in production and / or delays with the shipping company.

Delivery is made to all countries within the EU.

At the time of order, the delivery time will be specified. If ordering multiple products with different delivery times, all products will be shipped at the same time, unless otherwise agreed.

Hans K ships either to an agent (DHL service point) or home delivery (DHL Home Delivery), which means delivery to the property boundary/sidewalk. Any carrying in and assembly are not included.
At this stage we only ship within EU memberstates.
If a shipment is not accepted and Hans K gets shipment back, Hans K will charge 895 SEK for home delivery and 199 SEK for agent delivery.
You, as the recipient of the delivery, are responsible for inspecting that the package has no visible damage and for checking that the correct number of packages has arrived before signing the delivery note. If there is any discrepancy with your delivery, it must be noted on the delivery note and signed by you and the driver. In case of any transport damage and/or hidden transport damage, please report it to the transporter on the delivery note immediately, if possible, preferably by the driver. Email a picture of the delivery note and the damage and send it to info@hansk.se immediately within 3 days. We are not responsible for any hidden transport damage reported later than 3 days after the delivery date.

5. Returns and Refunds

According to the EU consumer rights, consumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. The right of cancellation applies to goods in unchanged condition and must be returned in the original packaging.
When you exercise the right of cancellation or exchange, you, as the customer, are responsible for the return shipping costs. In case of a return, please contact info@hansk.se to obtain a reference number. As soon as the item is back with us and inspected by our service department, a refund/adjustment will be made after deducting the shipping cost from the amount.
In case of a return of a complained item, we cover the return cost. In case of any complaint disputes, we follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board. A valid complaint assumes that all care instructions have been followed and normal care has been observed.
It is important that the return shipment is well packaged in the original packaging to avoid damage during return.
Hans K offers special products outside the standard range, and here the right of return is limited and decided on a case-by-case basis before order confirmation.

6. Right to Complaint

Hans K has a product guarantee and provides a 3-year right to complaint on all products according to the EU Consumer Rights. In case of any defects, Hans K will first offer repair (Hans K repair shop) or replacement. In some cases, spare parts will be sent or a price reduction corresponding to the item's defect will be offered.
In case of a complaint, please send the receipt, name, and good documentation (text and image) of the item's defect to service@hansk.se, and Hans K will respond with a proposed solution.

7. Personal Information

As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the information is correct and complete. Hans K processes all personal information according to GDPR, an EU law with rules for how a company may use personal information (name, phone number, and address) in a privacy-friendly manner.

8. Intellectual Property

Text and images published on hansk.se are protected by intellectual property rights. This protection means that the material may not be used without the permission of the rights holder. The material may also not be copied or otherwise transferred to a third party without Hans K's written consent.

9. Liability

The EU Consumer Rights and consumer protection legislation apply when ordering on www.hansk.se.
Hans K is only liable to the customer for any losses or damages that arise, corresponding to the total value of the order.

10. Force Majeure

Hans K cannot be held responsible for events that are beyond Hans K's control and foresight, such as natural disasters, strikes, war, fire, explosion, boycott, and other force majeure-like circumstances.

11. Disputes and Applicable Law

Hans K always intends to resolve issues in the best way for the customer and Hans K.
If a dispute arises, it will be tried at the General Complaints Board or the court that follows the law.

12. Miscellaneous

A shade on a photo on www.hansk.se may differ from the product's actual shade.

Hans K works with very natural materials such as solid wood, for example, oak.
Natural materials vary in appearance, size, and structure from material to material. For example, color variations, structural differences, knots, grain, etc. These natural variations normally do not constitute a valid reason for complaint. It is important to care for each material according to the care instructions.
